A partire degli anni 2000, le case in legno hanno goduto di un “cambio generazionale” si passa dalle classiche abitazioni in legno dallo stile un po’ retrò, ad una nuova implicazione del legno per costruzioni eco-sostenibili e ecologiche, un nuovo modo di concepire e costruire in modo contemporaneo ed innovativo.
Le case in legno di oggi rispondono socialmente ad un pubblico che vive la quotidianità con un approccio diverso rispetto ai decenni passati e che quindi, ha esigenza di abitare e costruire differentemente. Chi dice che il legno fa… antico? Il legno è un materiale duttile che può rispondere alle esigenze e allo stile anche dei più giovani. Contemporanea o classica, chiavi in mano o auto-costruita, la casa in legno si arricchisce di tante diverse sfumature di stile, poiché tende ad assomigliarvi!
Che sia una piccola tiny house o un’importante struttura, il legno ci permette di poter spaziare con la nostra fantasia, ridurre i costi e guardare alla durabilità nel tempo. In questo caso costruire diventa più rispettoso in termini di contribuzione all’abbassamento delle emissioni di gas effetto serra responsabili del cambiamento climatico. Sicurezza e solidità

Test sismici hanno dimostrato che il legno è il materiale da costruzione perfetto per edificare case e strutture in luoghi altamente sismici perché: duttile, leggero e resistente. Il legno mantiene le proprie caratteristiche strutturali anche ad alte temperature, in quanto la sua autocombustione avviene a 300° C, mentre la deformazione dell’acciaio e il rischio di crolli in una struttura di cemento armato si hanno già a 200°C. Una casa in legno non collassa ma, al contrario, mantiene inalterata struttura e portata per un tempo garantito.

Tempi di realizzazione molto più veloci rispetto alle costruzioni tradizionali, le strutture in legno hanno tempi di costruzione, montaggio e consegna ridotti. Inoltre, rispetto ad altri materiali, al legno non occorrono tempi per il disarmo e per l’asciugatura, tutto a vantaggio della qualità delle lavorazioni
Sostenibilità ambientale
Erroneamente si pensa che costruire case in legno danneggi l’ambiente, in realtà è il miglior modo per rispettare la natura. Inoltre, il legno è un ottimo isolante; le caratteristiche del legno consentono di trattenere e rilasciare il calore, ciò si traduce in un risparmio energetico che può variare dal 15% al 35-40% rispetto una casa in muratura, il tutto a vantaggio dell’ambiente.

The goal is to bring nature back to the cities, consider local resources and provide the inhabitants with the right comfort of life.

Who says that wood is … ancient? Wood is a ductile material that can meet the needs and style of even the youngest. Thanks to its versatility, it is able to meet different economic, structural and style requirements, for example. Contemporary or classic, turnkey or self-built, the wooden house is enriched with many different shades of style, because it tends to look like you!
Whether it is a small tiny house or an important structure, wood allows us to be able to space our imagination, reduce costs and look at durability over time. The wood maintains its structural characteristics even at high temperatures, as its self-combustion occurs at 300 ° C, while the deformation of steel and the risk of collapses in a reinforced concrete structure are already at 200 ° C. A wooden house does not collapse but, on the contrary, maintains its structure and capacity unchanged for a guaranteed time.
Fast and ready to use
Construction times much faster than traditional constructions, wooden structures have reduced construction, assembly and delivery times.
Moreover, compared to other materials, wood does not need time for disarming and drying, all to the advantage of the quality of the workings.
